EU Controlling the radio waves
A control of radio wavelengths directive from the EU has meant that one of Britain’s most admired charities, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution was asked to increase its annual payment for using a dedicated radio wavelength from ¬£38,000 to ¬£260,000.

Why are we still members of the EU? I thought we elected our politicians to look after our best interests and they are supposed to be there for us, but it looks like the only important thing today is money, why do they get paid such large sums of money when so many of our pensioners are living in poverty, it doesn’t make sense. I have always voted and this time I am voting for UKIP.

RNLI is an institution which saves lives and so should get a 100% concession on any fees like this. It is about time we use that stip of water we have, (The North Sea etc) and pull up the drawbridge and tell the EU a firm NO

To anyone with an ounce of sense EU is a disaster - what do the political leaders hope to get out of it? cushy jubs in Brussels with even better perks than Westminster apparently provides.
